ABOUT ME
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME AND WHY I CHOSE TO WALK THIS LIFE..
I'm Ann-Marie, 36 years old from London. Single, child-free by choice, and working as a freelance Copywriter while I travel the globe! Following yearsss of swiping and dating, I thought I had found "the one"... until that came to an abrupt end last summer. *Side note ladies, if a man is unsure about a future with you, do NOT try to convince him to change his mind! Just say "OK" and find something better to do instead... and believe me, there is ALWAYS something better.
I had also been feeling stuck in a career rut for years… you know the feeling where you have a good job, but you feel like there is something else you should be doing, but you’re not sure what that is and you can afford to take the time to try something new incase it doesn’t work out and you can’t pay your bills… you know, that feeling! So my break-up was my chance to finally live out my EAT, PRAY LOVE fantasy! So here I am, travelling round SE Asia, on my own, having the best fucking time.

Girls, you don't have to be a wife, or settle for some guy who “isn’t sure what he wants” just because you don't want to be alone. Being alone is empowering. And you definitely don't have to have babies if you don't want to. WE CAN DO WHATEVER THE FUCK WE WANT!
So, I am doing just that, and will be writing about my experience of being single, being heartbroken, grieving the loss of my Mum, finding a career that lights a fire in my belly, travelling the world, and generally navigating through the middle of the so-called "Panic Years".

I hope to inspire other women to live a life that is true to themselves, and not what society pressures us to believe we should be doing. Bollocks to the haters and time wasters, life is precious and the time to be happy is NOW!
